Advocating for open and innovation-friendly policy in Slovakia and the EU. SAPIE is the leading forum for policy debate on topics of digital and knowledge economy.

Ecosystem
SAPIE is the biggest innovative alliance in Slovakia uniting start ups, scale ups, investors, corporations and NGOs. Weβre here to boost the ecosystem grow through network building and regional cooperations.
Policy & Advocacy
We believe that openness and interactions between stakeholders are the key to formulating pro-innovation policies. We act as the unifying voice of innovative companies in Slovakia in promoting an open, outward-looking and flexible legislation that serves as an enabler of innovation.
We foster a dialogue aiming at identification of the best policies and practices through policy recommendations, official letters to the national and EU representative bodies. We also participate in public consultations and provide consultations and feedback during legislative drafting.

Openlab
At SAPIE, we are extending the OpenLab training program, built on the principles of open source and democratic society. Students develop hybrid applications and games while working on real-world projects with companies.
Naskilluj.sa
Together with the Pontis Foundation, we launched the project This is 21!, which connects leaders with high schools, where they present through their story the skills needed for the 21st century. Find out more about This is 21!
