Tereza Slezák-Barčáková

Tereza is an event and communication manager focusing mainly, but not only on the HOPERO project.

From the candidate stage she was a part of Trenčín 2026 (European Capital of Culture) team and was responsible for international relations and partnerships. Together with her colleagues she managed to build a network of more than 500 partners, organisations and artists from all around Europe.

She has 10 years of experience in marketing and events production working both in agencies and freelance for more than 50 clients.

In her free time, she is an active part of cultural life. She founded festival Priestor, the goal of which is to regenerate forgotten places of the city by art and culture. She was also a member of organisation Hlava 5 (Catch 5) mapping and popularising art in public space made especially in the years 1965-1989. Her main expertise is linked with topics such as visual art, music, architecture or fashion.

She studied international management at Comenius University and cultural production at University of Performing Arts in Bratislava.

Her biggest passion is travelling.
